Gruber & Associates was established to provide a variety of information technology (I/T) related consulting services to healthcare organizations based in the Western part of United States. Founded by Mitch Gruber in 1990, the firm focuses on providing executives assistance in improving the acquisition and utilization of financial, clinical and decision support information systems in today's competitive environment.

Mitch Gruber, Founder and President

Mr. Gruber is a Information Technology Executive with over 30 years of healthcare IT expertise. His successes include work both inside provider healthcare organizations and externally as a consultant; including roles as a Chief Information Officer for a large hospital center, marketing manager for a software vendor, and senior positions at nationwide consultative firms. This varied and extensive background makes Mr. Gruber uniquely suited to provide a true holistic vision for today’s healthcare organization.

Mr. Gruber’s focus in IT Strategic Planning began with his founding of Gruber & Associates in 1990. The firm quickly grew to provide IT planning services for healthcare customers spanning the US regardless of size. Working with a group of long-term associates, Mr. Gruber continues his work with healthcare clients from his offices in the San Francisco Bay area.

Mr. Gruber holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from The City College of New York, a Masters of Science from Long Island University, and a Masters of Public Administration / Health Administration from New York University.
